I was born in Chania, Greece. 

My interest and curiosity about many subjects led me to study and experiment with different fields (Engineering, Design, Theory of arts and culture, Litterature, Music, Art) throughout my early life. This is also reflected in the diversity of my work.

I studied Engineering, Graphic Design, Illustration at an undergraduate level and hold a MA in Visual Communication Theory from Vakalo College in Athens and the University of Derby, UK, with specialization in modern and contemporary visual propaganda, semiotics, litterature theory.

After its completion I was offered a place as PhD researcher at the University of Glasgow with scholarship from the A. Onassis Foundation.

Along with my studies I have also participated in various festivals, group shows and workshops in Greece working with different media. Also, I have participated in various volunteering projects in Europe, doing workshops.

I am also writing essays, articles and poetry on topics that derive from and complete my visual work.

​

My most recent work is influenced by my experiences with Holotropic Breathwork and the shamanic work with indigenous healing plants during my stay in the Amazon jungle in 2015-16.
